Easter Treat Bags

I made these Easter treat bags with two of my favorite

things - jelly beans and vintage clip art.
First, I stuffed these polka dot clear plastic
bags with a few handfuls of jelly beans.

Then I filled these yellow paper sacks with the

jelly bean bags, folded over the top and hole

punched the center.

Finally, I tied off the tag with different color spool ribbon.

Hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter!

Creative Containers II

Tonight I thought I would share a few

arrangements in containers at the store.

These are all artificial of course, but you get the idea. A simple water can would be a great display.
Or how about tulips in a bowl. I used a depression glass

yellow bowl for these yellow tulips.
Hopefully you have a few new ideas of what to

use on your table top this Easter.

Creative Easter Containers

For this week I thought I would share some photos of Easter centerpieces

to help give you ideas if you don't already home something in mind. For our cloche fans, the above is an adorable combination of things. I like the hat filled with place card eggs, particularly for an outside celebration.
White flowers on clear glass cake plates is stunning and simple. I like the way the flowers are used as nests for the eggs.
Tea any one? Wouldn't this be cute at each place setting or along a line at the buffet?

Finally, the simplicity of carry out containers filled makes an easy, inexpensive idea.

Tomorrow some ideas of my own containers from the store.

I'm joining Metamorphosis Monday at Between Naps on the Porch.

Victorian Easter Clipart

Please enjoy the clip art I've posted here today all of which I found searching google images. In yesterday's post I suggested a centerpiece arrangement using images around the inside of a large glass container then inserting your flowers in water in a smaller container inside the larger container. These images would be perfect for that project.

In addition, these would make great last minute place cards, menu card headers or tags.
If you do not have a color printer available, I think they would still look great black and white with colorful flowers.

I hope you are having a great Friday and looking forward to this holiday weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

Dump and Fluff Easter Table Ideas

I am not hosting Easter this year, so I don't have a tablescape to share with you today, but if you are reading this for last minute ideas I do have a few of those to share. I'm not a very well organized person. I do a lot of things at the last minute (imagine). Because of this I am a great "dump and fluffer". What does this mean? Well, just that I buy things (usually at a store I'm already at like the grocery) and then dump them in a container and fluff them up.
Incorporating this method into your Easter planning I've listed some ideas with materials that would be available at your grocery store. The above image is from countryliving.com and is a simple radish and twine used as a napkin ring. I was thinking you could also use a single tulip or daffodil as well.
How about this idea above, also from countryliving.com. Take clipart printed from the computer and insert it into the inside of a large glass container. Then use a small container or can and fill that with water and your favorite blooms and insert it into the larger container.

This idea is adorable. They have used peeps and jelly beans around the outside of the larger container then used a smaller container to hold the tulips. (image from google.com)

This last idea is just a simple bowl filled with pansies and dotted with speckled candy eggs. I think several of these down the center of your table would be really cute.

Here Comes Peter . . .

Today I'm joining Susan over at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday. I am tickled pink over this tablescape. You know how you have a tablescape idea in your mind, and then it all comes together just as your mind's eye sees it? Come on I know you tablescapper's out there know what I'm talking about - well, this one did!
I laid out the burlap remnant as the base cloth. Then I added purple placemats. Next I layered rattan ceramic dinner plates as the base and the piece du resistance was these adorable bunny plates.

Aren't these plates great! I love the pink raspberries with the purple violets and the brown bunny.

I used purple and green plaid napkins in the carrot napkin rings, layered in a green beaded garland and black and white sheep salt and pepper shakers.

Finally in the center I placed this to die for wreath that actually sits up too and these cute grapevine baskets with silk tulips. Yes, Peter Cottontail it is satisfying to put together something you're pleased with!

Easter Stuffings

This tablescape is full of ideas to use for Easter stuffing. I love this brightly colored egg shape totes. They would be great for an Easter egg hunt.
Here you see some long eared rabbits lined up for duty along with white felt rabbit sucker covers.

Mr. EB has his note pads ready for all the Easter "to do's".

Aren't these felt purses cute with the flower embellishments?

I think my favorite are these ducks. They are in the shape of rabbits, lambs and chicks. So cute! What are planning on stuffing in your Easter baskets this year?
Today I'm joining Tabletop Tuesday at a stroll thru life. Go over and see Marty's great blue and white post, plus all the friends that have joined her.

Victorian Easter Bunnies

I had a great day on Saturday working up at the booth. I was able to get the last of the Easter items priced and displayed. See the narrow table above with the blue and white on it? I changed it out to a Victorian Easter theme.

Here you can see I placed a runner of lemon leaves as the base, then added in a big white chocolate bunny, two medium sized chocolate bunnies and several pastel and dark chocolate mini bunnies.

I place two large white bunnies made from bleached grass and then sparkled with fairy dust on the table. This guy has a grape vine back pack of eggs.

Here's a side view of him with his back pack ready for deliveries. I love these two guys they are really cute! I think they would look great on some one's mantel.

Here's long shot of the table. You can see both of the grass bunnies together. In between the various bunnies I placed Victorian shaker boxes in pastel colors with Easter scenes on top.

Booth Updates

You may have noticed in my post on Monday that I changed around the china cabinet for Easter.

I love these bunny sucker covers - what a way to dress up your lollipop!

I really like the way it turned out with all the yellow, orange and pastel colors. Do you have your Easter decor out at home yet?
