Last Labor Day weekend Miss Bee and I
went on a Southern shopping trip
in Knoxville, Atlanta, & Charleston.
the Buckhead neighborhood outside Atlanta.
Approximately 1/2 way home on our drive from Charleston to Kentucky
we stayed overnight at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead.
This provided a delightful respite from driving with
a night of room service and movies.
The next morning we drove a few minutes from the hotel
over to Boxwoods, which is located in a neighborhood
setting nestled between some of the finer homes in Atlanta.
Boxwoods is actually two buildings, Boxwoods Home
and across the street Boxwoods.
We headed into Boxwoods Home first -pictured above.
Each room features a tabletop design
and accompanying pieces related to the color scheme.
Lots of blues and greens to add to your collection.
They offer a mixture of price range from
some high end pieces to melamine ware and
paper products for entertaining.
You can see above Miss B holding some
of the things we found that day.
Boxwoods also sells antique pieces
including these beautiful china cabinets.
There are several levels of the store
in the basement were Tuscan theme items.
Located next door are floral items and seasonal decor.
Next time you are in Atlanta you must add
a trip to Boxwoods to your shopping day!
A note to my readers: as I mentioned Boxwoods Home is
multi level so if you have a challenge with stairs
that is a consideration. Overall the stairs are wide
and deep with a railing so I was able to manage slowly.
The parking lot is in front of the store, only a few steps away.
Boxwoods is located in a suburb, just a few minutes
places to eat are available in the area.
Check store hours before your visit -we stopped by there
this past July on our way thru to Florida
and they were not open.
Thanks for coming by today~
Make it a Beeutiful Week!
