Halloween Porch at the Little Bee House

Welcome to Halloween on
the porch of our Little Bee House!

I layered the lanterns I already
have and enjoy so much as the
nights are earlier now in fall
with a set of three pumpkins from Target.
In our sitting area I replaced the
fall pillows with linen pillow covers
I found on Amazon that match the
polka dot theme of the other pumpkins
On the black wicker table I filled
a gray urn from QVC with polk dot,
striped and check pumpkins from Pier One.
In addition to two mini Halloween
light up bottle brush trees also from Pier One.
The witch has flown straight into the wall
of the porch by the door on this
black and orange wreath from Pier One
with more pumpkin polka dot and stripes!
 Finally these happy pumpkin topiaries
in my urns flank the entry way
to create a mood of Joy
for all the trick and treaters!
They are from Frontgate.
Such a happy little porch~we have really enjoyed it!
Wishing you and yours a Happy Halloween!

Ghoulish Girls Night In

Welcome to a Ghoulish Girls Night In Dinner!
This would also be a great idea for
your turn to host Bunco, Bridge or Bible Study.
I went rather non traditional in color scheme
for this tablescape using pinks, silver, black and white.
I also mixed new and vintage together
as I often like to do to
create a ghoulish table.
At each place setting I used the Totally Tikka
salad plates from my Grandmothers set of china
and a sherbet/champagne goblet
from a vintage set I picked up at an antique store
a few years ago.
For linens I went with my Grandma's pink damask
napkins.  I just love these napkins, well worn
with love and buttery softness!
Here's a better picture of the glassware set
with silver edging which matches the
silver and white stripe paper table runner.
I had to have some bees on the table
I purchased from Horchow several years ago.
Each place setting has a white and silver
ceramic pumpkin from Target.
I tried to find a link for them but
they don't seem to be available anymore.
Initially I had the skull paper placemats
up under the dinner plates, but
you really could not get the full
ghoulish affect so I pulled
them out and placed them on an
angle at all four corners of the table.

One additional paper skeleton for more festivity
next to the flowers.
 And speaking of the flowers
I loved the combination of the sweet pink
roses, which matched the pink roses of the
salad plates along with the
darker trumpet flowers
which are almost blood red.
I hope you have enjoyed this
Ghoulish table!  I certainly have
enjoyed you stopping by to visit.
Hope you have a great day!
