A Stroll Thru the Yard

Won't you grab a glass of iced tea and join me today as we take a stroll thru the yard to see what's happening?

This bush out by the back patio was another inheritance from the
previous owners. It blooms only for a few weeks each June.

I think it's very unusual looking. Any ideas?

In some of my containers this year I planted this
mini-daisy looking trailer.

It's doing a great job of spreading around the pots
and climbing down.

I like it with the yellow marigolds since it has
a yellow center.

Today I'm joining White Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday.

  1. As a totally frustrated gardener, I enjoy all gardens and yours was not exception! Thank you!

  2. Very pretty! The bloom is similar to Astilbe, but they don't get that large, so my guess is Goat's Beard plant. Let me know when you find out!

Dropping by from Outdoor Wednesday (post #3). If you haven't registered for our glass vessel sink giveaway, it's open until 5pm EST Wednesday.

  3. I am not sure of your plants name, but I like it and it is very pretty. You have several lovely flowers.

  4. Very pretty blooms. I thought it looked like Astilbe too, but not sure.

  5. I'm not familiar with the first, but your second plant is definitely a bacopha - great container plant that will spill and tumble right out of the pot. Thanks for taking us for a walk through your garden!

  6. Love container gardens. That is such a pretty trailing plant.

  7. I have no idea what the name of that bush is, but it sure does put on a show when it blooms! It must be the star of your garden!
    Happy White Wednesday!

  8. I don't know what it is, but I think it's gorgeous!

  9. I cannot identify the blooms, but they are all quite beautiful.

  10. Very pretty. Enjoyed seeing a bit of your garden.
