Today I'm joining in on Tablescape Thursday for the first time. I've been a big fan of all the tablescapes that have been shown in the past, so I am a little hesitant about my post, please be kind!
Be sure to join Susan at Between Naps on the Porch to view more great tablescapes: http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/
As I mentioned earlier this week http://beeutifulbydesign.blogspot.com/2009/08/tablescape-inspiration.html, the idea for this tablescape came from viewing Caspari's website. Several of the items here are available for sale at Beeutiful by Design. You'll see the flatware still has their tags on since I borrowed them for the shoot. Also the placemats and napkins are for sale. Did you notice those porcelain fish above the plates? They are chopstick holders, but I thought they'd also make cute place card holders or even knife rests. Yep, they're for sale too. The plates, parrots and vase are from my collection.
I love blue and white. This is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty table -- but I so love anything blue and white!

Welcome to TT! Love your table --you just can't go wrong with blue and white - but I do love that you've added a hint of orange - just makes everything pop. Great 1st TT - we'll be looking for more from you - so happy you've joined the party.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your very first tablescape post! Welcome to the party! You'll find a wonderful group of gracious, welcoming friends here.
ReplyDeleteYou interpreted your blue and white theme beautifully! I love your use of orange to complement the blue; it adds great energy and excitement to your table.
Again, welcome.
See you next time!

I just love blue and white and it looks great with the orange you used! I featured blue and white last week and used yellow with it.
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
Katherine
Orange and blue is a wonderful color combination! Very pretty. I love blue and white china!

You did a very nice job using the orange as an accent. This time around was my first attempt at tablescaping, too!
